What a great Burn! This was our last regularly scheduled Burn at TJ’s CAVE as we’ll be putting more efforts back into the city of New Bern and surrounding areas. The evening was filled with a sweet sweet sound as we gave an offering of worship throughout the night. There was a tapestry of musicians, artists, intercessors, sound techs and shift leaders that were pouring out their unique offerings throughout the night simply because he’s worthy!
We saw collaborative bands, family bands, individual musicians and even a full hour of instrumental worship and warfare with a trumpet! We saw youth branching off and spreading their wings as they led a night watch set (quite powerful). We saw children dancing before the Lord and filled with joy! We love diversity and seeing unity in the kingdom! We took communion together and had a symbolic blowing of the horns (shofar, ram’s horn, trumpet…and other random noises) as a call to worship/action. There were many prophetic words that were spoken throughout the night and prayers of healing declared over many individuals.
I get choked up seeing a man battling esophagus cancer pouring out his last bit of energy and vocals simply because He is worthy of it ALL!!! I often know a bit of the testimonies of those we labor among and it just humbles me. He who been forgiven much loves much… and we have a whole lot of love!!! God has truly blessed us with a remnant commUNITY that is willing to lay it all down at the foot of the cross!!! I pray the Lord is glorified as we continue in this next season…
