We are in an exciting season of ministry opportunities in our city, our region, our nation... and beyond. We get the privilege of being part of the great commission through our individual time, talents and treasures. What a blessing!
Burn New Bern is a much needed expression in our community to help equip and prepare our hearts for the mission God has called each of us to. The heart of the Burn is to be a priestly ministry focused on lavishing our love on the Father (vertical ministry) but we are often impacted, filled-up, radically set free and on fire...etc by default (horizontal ministry). We get the privilege of contending for our commUNITY through worship and prayer but yet we seem to benefit from the fruit and atmospheric shift that we often encounter. It's worth it! We encourage YOU to come and serve and/or soak in the presence of God as we corporately seek more outpouring of the Holy Spirit in our land. Invite your friends, family, leaders...etc.
This month we celebrate the one year anniversary of Burn New Bern in Craven County. The Oasis in Havelock, NC will be the host venue this month on July 24th/25th from 7pm-7am. We will be hosting a pot-luck dinner prior to the event starting at 6:00pm sharp also at The Oasis and open to the public so plan to bring something yummy! Doors open at 5:45 to start bringing your tasty masterpieces! Relational ministry is very important to us and we want to get to know those we labor among so this will be an awesome time of fellowship before our 7:00pm Burn kick-off.
We will also be hosting a preBurn for everyone serving this month and those interested in serving in the future. This will be on July 21st @ 6:30-8:00 at The Oasis. Please see details on our Facebook event and please RSVP on the event (preferred) or email thorsby@theburn247.com for logistics purposes.
The cost is small (time) but the fruit is plentiful. Matthew 9:37

Burn T-Shirts - We are now accepting pre-orders through July 21 for Burn T-shirts. HOORAY! Your order is confirmed by payment of $15 directly to Michael or Sara Thorsby (ideal) or order/donate online. Black shirts, men's sizes (S,M,L,XL,XXL) with Burn logo on front and website on back. If enough pre-orders are paid by July 21, we'll have them by the July Burn. If not, they will be available in August. They will most likely be $20 at the events to help cover costs.
