FIRE! FIRE! FIRE!!!
What does it look like when a remnant of Jesus lovers get together to passionately pursue the presence of God? What does is look like when a fresh fire sweeps a community? What does it look like when we're willing to set aside our dogma, focus on the essentials, break down walls that separate us and simply go for it with ONE purpose... JESUS? What does it look like when multi-generational, multi-denominational and multi-cultural people come together under one roof to offer an incense of praise? It looks a lot like the Burn communities that are forming all over the world as part of the Burn 24-7 movement! This is an exciting season that we are living in and we get the privilege of investing into one of the many expressions that are shaking the dust of complacency off of our feet and digging the wells of revival deeper on a local, regional and national level!
We invite and encourage anyone that is interested in serving as part of the Burn ministry team to join us for preBurns on 2nd Saturdays each month from 5-6pm at TJ's CAVE. Afterwards, TJ's CAVE will be open from 6-9pm for a time of commUNITY for those who want maximize our time together building relationships to unite us for the journey. We strongly encourage our Burn commUNITY to engage with Craven24Seven. Sign up (as an individual or on behalf of a group) for one hour intercession and/or worship time slots. Don't be discouraged if you only see a few people signed up. Every hour that is covered is one step closer to 24/7. We've covered hundreds of hours of prayer over the last year and we are charging for MORE!!! Please don't assume someone else will cover the hours. We need YOU to sign up and take action!!!
If you are interested in serving at Burn New Bern as a worship leader, artist, shift leader, sound tech or intercessor, please contact thorsby@theburn247.com to be considered as part of our team. We're now accepting commitments for up to five months out. We encourage everyone to prayerfully consider engaging for extended amounts of time... especially during the night watch! Pillows and blankets are welcomed for "sloaking" purposes!!!
